This is the first book in the Divine Dungeon series. I’m less familiar with that genre though, so I can’t speak too much about it.īut enough about the genre/subgenre at this point. The light novel versions often use JRPG mechanics and ideas taken from that to build dungeons, but the western versions are usually either that or the Dungeons and Dragons variant. Usually the main character is either the dungeon master, demon king, or (as is this case) the dungeon itself. What this means, essentially, is that it’s about a dungeon being built up over the course of the story.
